This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to both documents.
1. How Subscriptions Work
Instanto offers a Free plan with no charge and two paid plans — Plus and Pro — available on monthly or annual billing cycles. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your plan and billing cycle are shown in the Plan tab of your dashboard. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel your paid subscription at any time from the Plan tab in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to your plan's features until that date. No data is deleted when you cancel; your account, site, and settings are preserved. Data is only deleted when you explicitly delete your account.
3. Monthly Plans
Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same date each month. Once a billing cycle has started, we do not issue refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, your access continues until the end of that period and you will not be charged again.
4. Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for 12 months. We do not refund unused months on annual subscriptions, except within the EU/Swiss right of withdrawal window described in section 5 below.
5. EU/Swiss Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer based in the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of your first paid subscription.
However, by starting to use paid features immediately after subscribing — for example, publishing your site or accessing a paid template — you expressly request that service delivery begin before the withdrawal period expires. By doing so, you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is waived once the service has been fully or substantially performed.
If you have not used any paid features within 14 days of subscribing and wish to withdraw, contact us at billing@instanto.site within that window for a full refund.
6. When We Do Issue Refunds
We will issue a refund in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charges: You were billed more than once for the same period due to a technical error
- Billing errors: An incorrect amount was charged due to a mistake on our part
- Extended platform outage: The paid service was unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to a confirmed Instanto platform outage, pro-rated for the affected period
- Unused withdrawal window: You are an EU/Swiss consumer and have not used any paid features within 14 days of subscribing (see section 5)
7. Plan Changes
Downgrading from Pro to Plus, or from Plus to Free, takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not issue partial refunds for the difference when downgrading mid-cycle. Upgrades take effect immediately; you are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current period.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email billing@instanto.site with the subject line "Refund request" and include:
- The email address associated with your Instanto account
- The reason for your request
- The approximate date of the charge in question
We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
9. Price Changes
We may change subscription prices at any time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price increase takes effect. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the effective date.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email to your registered account address at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of a paid plan after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
